From Colle Val d'Elsa in the direction of the Volterra SS 68 and after about 3 km, Le Grazie, turn right towards San Gimignano, 11 km away. From there we proceed up and down to Castel San Gimignano where you back on SS 68 turning right towards Volterra for about 3 miles, until the left turn for Casole d'Elsa, which is reached after 10 km. From here you cycle at a time of Monteguidi (6.5 km with the final climb of 3 miles) to travel down the road that crosses the river Cecina and begins to climb towards the village of Montecastelli, thus encroaching on the province of Pisa. From Montecastelli go downhill towards Castelnuovo Val di Cecina, after 4 km you leave the road to Castelnuovo and turn left on the winding road to Radicondoli (12 km): Before you go down to the bridge over the river and then up the hill Lucignano of Radicondoli, lovely medieval village far from big roads and situated in a panoramic position. From Radicondoli you iprovede along a fast and pleasant descent of 2 km that leads up to an intersection where you turn left following signs for canteens, located 5.5 km. Then we proceed to Casole d'Elsa, but before reaching the village, turn right following signs for Colle Val d'Elsa, after 4 km at the T with SS 541, turn left, reaching the starting point on the road which follows the course of the river Elsa.
